Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association Endorses Kotyuk

(Sacramento, Calif.) – Today, the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association (HJTA) PAC endorsed small businessman and Navy Veteran Andrew Kotyuk for State Assembly.  Kotyuk has been a vocal leader in the effort to Repeal the Gas Tax, rallying supporters and campaigning in support of the initiative.  He is running against Assemblyman Chad Mayes, who was the deciding vote on Governor Jerry Brown’s Cap & Trade GasTax and was removed as Assembly Republican Leader.

“Andrew Kotyuk has signed the Taxpayer Protection Pledge and he has run an exceptional grass roots campaign.  He is the only truly conservative candidate poised to help us in the fight against Sacramento’s liberal tax and spend agenda,” said HJTA President, Jon Coupal. “California needs legislators in office who won’t break their promises to taxpayers.  Andrew is committed to protecting Proposition 13 and private property rights for California taxpayers as well as pushing back against waste, fraud and abuse in government.”
“The Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association is the most important voice of fiscal sanity in California,” said Kotyuk.  “HJTA is on the front lines exposing the abuse of taxpayers in Sacramento and has been a consistent, trusted voice in the fight against big government.  I’m proud to have their support and look forward to working with them to protect taxpayers.”

Andrew Kotyuk has been endorsed by Carl DeMaio, Reform California Founder and author of the Gas Tax Repeal Initiative as well as taxfighters Senator Joel Anderson, Assemblyman Randy Voepel, Supervisor Kevin Jeffries, and former Senate Republican Leader Dennis Hollingsworth.  Andrew is running to Repeal and Replace Chad Mayes, chief architect of the largest Gas Tax in California history that lead 6 other Republicans to vote for the Cap & Trade scheme championed by Governor Jerry Brown and Assembly Democrats.
